Ten happy lottery players from Melbourne and Geelong are sporting a winning glow today after their syndicate entry in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw scored them a division one prize of $2.5 million.

The group syndicate entry nicknamed “soaking up the sun”, was one of the eight division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4025, drawn Saturday 15 February 2020 and takes home a division one prize of $2,500,000.

As well as winning the division one prize, the group syndicate’s system entry also won division two 6 times, division three 36 times, division four 315 times and division five 300 times, bolstering the syndicate’s total prize to $2,610,876.25.

Each member of the syndicate receives a share worth $261,087.63.

Shares in the group syndicate were sold at two outlets across Melbourne and Geelong; Moonee Ponds Pharmacy & Lotto, 22 Pratt Street, Moonee Ponds (7 shares); and Corner Exchange Lotto, Shop 1, 75 Separation Street, Geelong North (3 shares).

The winning group syndicate was set up by Moonee Ponds Pharmacy & Lotto and the owner Quang Le said he was thrilled to see his outlet’s syndicate snare division one.

“When I first heard we had sold a division one winning syndicate entry I was shocked and overwhelmed!” he exclaimed.

“This syndicate has been running with the same customers for seven years and we nicknamed it ‘soaking up the sun’.

“We play it every time there is a $20 million TattsLotto Superdraw.

“It’s thanks to our regular customers always believing they would win that we kept playing it and now it finally has won!

“Our winners will surely be over the moon and there will definitely be partying in store.

“We’ve sold three division one winning entries at this outlet, the last was in 2018.

“We want to say a huge congratulations to each and every syndicate member. We hope it was worth the wait.

“They definitely will all be ‘soaking up the sun’! What a way to start the year!”
