An early retirement, business-class trips all over the world, and a new home are now part of the grand plans for a Terrigal couple who just discovered they’re multi-millionaires.

The New South Wales couple held one of the two division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Lotto draw 3935, drawn Saturday 6 April 2019. Each entry won a division one prize of $2,099,625.55.

Sharing their excitement with us this morning, the over-the-moon couple recalled how they discovered their life-changing win.

"Thank you very, very much!” the wife cried.

“Last night I looked at the winning numbers online, that’s when I realised we’d won!

“I’d never checked the results online before in my life and I’m not sure why I did last night.

“Then I saw I had six winning numbers and I thought ‘that can’t be right’.

“All I could think was ‘what am I going to do with it all?’.

“It’s safe to say we didn’t sleep very well last night at all!

“We feel so shocked!”

The woman told us her and her husband are both semi-retired, but this win meant they’d give up work instantly.

“This comes as a beautiful bonus for the rest of our life!” she exclaimed.

“We will definitely travel and we will definitely be going business class.

“I’d love to go back to London. The world is our oyster now!

“We’ve been playing for about thirty years or so and I’ve had lots of little wins along the way!

“But this, we’re absolutely over the moon!

“We’ve been renovating but we could buy a whole new house now.

“We will certainly be giving up work the small amount of work we currently do.”

The winners, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased their winning entry at Nextra Erina Market, Shop T094, 620 – 658 Terrigal Drive, Erina.

Nextra Erina Market manager Katy McHugh said she was thrilled for her regular customers.

“This is the first time we’ve sold a division one winning entry so we really couldn’t be more excited!” she exclaimed.

“We certainly hope this is now the first of many big wins for our customers.

“We’re so happy for the winners.  We wish them all the best!”
