Five days after the draw, a Thurgoona mum has checked her Saturday Lotto entry to discover she’s the mystery millionaire lottery officials had been searching for.

The elusive New South Wales player held one of the 14 division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Lotto draw 4165, drawn Saturday 19 June 2021. Each entry won a division one prize of $1,428,571.43.

Confirming the overwhelming revelation with us this morning, the woman explained she’d just checked her ticket at the newsagency.

“Thank you!” she cried with happiness.

“I’m a bit speechless, actually. I had no idea at all.

“Apparently the search for the mystery lottery winner has been on the news and radio, but I had no idea.

“I came to the newsagency to get my ticket for this weekend and thought I’d better check the ones I had.

“Then they told me I could be the winner they’d been looking for!

“One million things are going through my head right now.

“It’s really overwhelming!”

With $1.4 million about to hit her bank account, the winning mum said there was no doubt things were about to change in an exciting way.

“I can probably buy this house I’ve been dreaming about buying for a long time,” she shared.

“I’ll be able to help my parents and my children.

“I might even get myself a new car!”

The life-changing entry was purchased at Thurgoona Plaza Newsagency, Shop 9, Thurgoona Plaza, 10 Shuter Avenue, Thurgoona.

Thurgoona Plaza Newsagency employee Vickie Sawatske said she was delighted the winner had finally come forward.

“What an incredible discovery this woman has made!” she exclaimed.

“We’re so happy that she has come in and checked her ticket. “From all of us here, a massive congratulations to our winner!

“It’s been about two years since we sold a division one winning entry and we’re certainly hoping this is the beginning of plenty more for our customers.”
