Tweed Heads woman blown away by $2 million Saturday Lotto windfall
A Tweed Heads woman has confessed she went numb and rushed to find her partner after scanning her Saturday Lotto entry and discovering she’d won $2 million.
The New South Wales resident held one of the 15 division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 4375, drawn Saturday 24 June 2023, and took home $2 million.
“Oh my god! I can’t believe this is real!” she yelled when we called to confirm her windfall.
“I’ve been playing these numbers for so many years and I’d almost given up hope.
“It’s going to change so much for me and my partner.
“Like so many others, it hasn’t been the easiest last couple of years, and we’ve been working really hard to get through it.
“This is almost like the light at the end of the tunnel.
“I’m really looking forward to helping out my family and friends, setting us up for the future and then life will be a mystery. We’ll just take it as it comes.
“Thanks so much, this is life changing.”
The woman’s winning marked 14 game entry was purchased at The Foundry Murwillumbah, 90 – 92 Murwillumbah Street, Murwillumbah.
The Foundry Murwillumbah team said they were over the moon to have sold a division one winning entry and wished their winner all the best for the future.
