Four days after the draw, a Wheelers Hill man has finally picked up the phone to the news he’s now a millionaire from the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The Melbourne player held one of the five division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4135, drawn Saturday 6 March 2021. Each division one winning entry takes home a prize worth $1,156,990.80.

When we finally got hold of the winner this morning, he admitted he’d been ignoring their phone calls.

“Thank you so much,” he said.

“I know you’ve been calling me for a few days but I don’t answer calls from numbers I don’t know.

“But I thought you were persistent, so I decided picked up.

“I’m very glad I did!

“I’ve been playing for what feels like all my life. I chose those numbers about 20 years ago, I can’t believe they’ve finally been drawn.”

With more than one million dollars about to hit his bank account, the ecstatic Victorian’s thoughts instantly turned to his family.

“I will be able to really help the kids out,” he said.

“I am going to pay off a chunk of their mortgages.

“My TV broke just recently, so I will be able to finally replace that. “And I do some more travelling around Australia.

“It will be great!”

The happy winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his marked System 10 entry at Wheelers Hill Newsagency, Shop 30, 200 Jells Road, Wheelers Hill.

Wheelers Hill Newsagency owner Yao Xue said the win was a special milestone for the outlet.

“We feel very happy knowing that one of our customers has won this incredible prize,” she said.

“Over the years we’ve sold six division one winning entries, our customers certainly believe we’re a lucky store.

“Congratulations to our latest winner! We hope we make another one of your loyal customers a millionaire again soon!”
