It’s confirmed - winning division one in Saturday Lotto is the “coolest thing in the world”!

A man in his 40s from North Bondi has confirmed what many have already suspected – winning division one win Saturday Lotto is the “coolest thing in the world”!

The delighted man held one of the three division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Lotto draw 3811 drawn on 29 September 2018, with each winning entry taking home a division one prize of $1,345,546.88.

In addition to winning division one, the winner’s entry also won division two 6 times, division three 6 times, and division four 28 times, bolstering his total prize to $1,394,468.48.

When we spoke with him to confirm his win, the excited winner described the moment he realised he was now a millionaire.

“My god! My god! Wow!” he exclaimed.

“My wife and I were on the lounge watching TV on Saturday night, but we fell asleep. When we woke up, I got up to check my entry. I said ‘hon, come here’.

“She read out the numbers and I said ‘I’ve got that, I’ve got that, I’ve got that…I’ve got them all’.

“She asked what that meant, and I said we may have won thousands of dollars. When I checked my ticket on my phone, my phone exploded with confetti!

“We just sat there. It was just magnificent. My wife and I haven’t slept since! But that’s fine!

“It’s just the coolest thing in the world. I just can’t stop laughing.”

The regular Lotto player said he had marked his ticket using family birthdates.

“This is going to set our little family up for the rest of our lives,” he said.

“We will buy our own home and not have a mortgage – this just puts us 35 years ahead!

“At the end of the day, this is for our kids.”

The thrilled winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning ticket at Ben Buckler Newsagency, 35 Campbell Parade, North Bondi.
