The shock of her Saturday Gold Lotto division one win was almost too much for a Gladstone woman this morning, with the happy winner accidentally dropping her phone after learning she’s now more than $443,000 richer.

The Central Queensland resident held one of the nine division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3887 on 20 October 2018. Each entry won the division one prize of $443,884.30.

In addition to her division one prize, the woman’s entry also won division six, bolstering her total win to $443,895.75.

“I’m standing here shaking,” the woman exclaimed when her win was confirmed this morning.

“Sorry, I just dropped the phone! It’s crazy!” she laughed.

“It’s awesome to be speaking to you on a Monday morning! Oh my gosh. Oh dear lord!

“I was about to go out and pay some bills and I thought I’d better go check my Gold Lotto ticket.

“This is so unbelievable. This is life changing.”

The regular Gold Lotto player shared she had been marking her entries using her ‘special numbers’ for many years.

While she was still recovering from the shock of her win, the Gladstone winner said she had already started contemplating what she would do with her windfall.

“There will be lots of travel!” she declared.

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her 8-game marked entry at Clinton Park News, Shop 6, 6 Ballentine Street, Gladstone.

Clinton Park News team member Kristie Masters said she was delighted their winner had been united with their prize.

“We’ve had a lot of people coming in and checking their tickets. Everyone wants to be that winner,” she said.

“We last sold a division one winning ticket in November 2015, so it’s great to see another win in store.

“We wish our winner all the very best with their prize.”
