A South Brisbane woman has confessed to feeling numb after discovering she won division one in last Saturday’s Gold Lotto draw and is now over $574,000 richer.

The Queenslander held one of the seven division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3917, drawn Saturday 2 February 2019. Each entry took home a division one prize of $574,474.92.

The winning entry was not registered to a Winner’s Circle card which meant we had no way of contacting the winner and had to wait until she came forward to claim her prize.

Sharing her joy with us this afternoon, the winner revealed she was still in shock.

“It still makes me goose pimply! It’s amazing! I don’t know how it happened!” she exclaimed.

“I’m still shaking days later. I found out earlier in the week when I checked the ticket number on the website.

“I’m numb! I’m still numb! I’m all over the place!”

When asked how she planned to spend her life-changing win, the generous woman confessed her family were at the top of her Lotto List.

“It’s just life-changing!” she explained.

“I think I’ll share it around with my family and then I can do whatever!

“I’ve got my mortgage in mind. It will be able to get rid of that and a holiday down the line sounds good.

“It’s just something you have to think and do the research so you can ensure you do the right thing with it.”

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning 12 game entry at Nextra Mount Ommaney News, Shop 59, Mt Ommaney Shopping Centre, 171 Dandenong Road, Mount Ommaney.

Nextra Mount Ommaney News owner Todd said he was thrilled the winner had been united with her prize.

“We are so pleased the winner has discovered the life-changing news!” he exclaimed.

“We wish her all the best and hope she enjoys putting the winnings to good use!”
