A South Gippsland woman feels like her late husband is looking down on her after this morning discovering she is now more than $987,000 richer from winning division one in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw.

The shocked woman held one of the four division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 3903, drawn 15 December 2018. Each winner takes home a division one prize of $980,293.19.

As well as winning the coveted division one prize, the winner’s System 7 entry also won division three six times, bolstering her total prize to $987,689.39.

When we spoke to the emotional winner this morning, she revealed the significance of her winning numbers.

“They are my husband’s numbers and he passed away two years ago today,” she shared.

“I feel like he’s looking down on me.

“We played them all the time. I haven’t changed them in nearly 20 years and I kept playing them.

“I feel like crying. I can’t believe it! I feel like I am on top of the moon. I’m gobsmacked.

“I’ve had the shakes all morning. I feel sick but I feel happy. You know when you don’t know how to feel? That’s me. I don’t know what I am feeling!”

When asked how she planned to spend her TattsLotto windfall, the winner confessed she couldn’t yet fathom what she would do.

“I haven’t got a clue! Not a clue! I might help my kids buy a home of their own!” she declared.

“Definitely a holiday too! I’m just flabbergasted I can’t think! I don’t know what to say.”

The thrilled woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her entry online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
