With most us are having more time at home than usual, it’s seems many are finally getting around to those tasks they’ve been putting off, like cleaning around the house and car.

While some have only discovered dust, others have unearthed unexpected treasure.Recently, we’ve had some winners who have a deep clean to thank for unveiling heir lottery wins.

From handbags to cupboards and draws… it’s amazing where a lottery loot could be hiding.

A young woman from North Sydney owes a clearing out of her handbag for revealing her $2.7 million Saturday Lotto win...from four months ago!

The woman shared with us that although she knew the ticket was in there, she’d never had the chance to check it and had no idea it was worth a whopping $2,727,272.73.

“I’m isolating at home at the moment so I will have plenty of time to think about the prize, but I know I will definitely be sharing it with my family.”

A Cairns dad finally got around to unpacking his suitcase… and a $250,000 Instant Scratch-Its win.

The Far North Queensland local was on holidays in Tasmania earlier this year where he picked up a few scratchies and  stowed them away in his luggage for the trip home before completely forgetting about them.

“When we finally discovered the tickets in our backpack and scratched them, we got quite a surprise! We couldn’t believe it; we still can’t. I don’t think it will sink in until we see the money in our bank account.”

The family man shared he would use his win to help his children and go on a holiday to Europe one day.

A nurse from New South Wales finally got around to checking a bundle of tickets she had stored safely in a draw delivering her a $100,000 payday!

The New South Wales player, and her friend, won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw back in December 2019.

The two work colleagues had been buying tickets together for more than five year and were balling their eyes out when they discovered their win.

One winner shared she would be using her bounty to bring forward her retirement, while the other told us the money would be going towards her kid’s education.

Cleaning around the home has never been so rewarding.

Will you be the next one to find a lottery loot? We can’t wait to find out!
