It’s been another eventful week here at Australia’s official lotteries. To bring in the Easter long weekend, check out our round-up of good news from the week that was.

A taste of heaven for seven Saturday Lotto winners
Saturday Lotto is a long-time favourite of many Aussies and it’s easy to see why when last weekend there were seven winning entries that each scored a division one prize worth over $600,000.

The wins fell across the country, with Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia welcoming one winning entry each, while Victoria scooped up three.

From a Rockhampton woman looking forward to retirement and a Bacchus Marsh man who’s excited to buy his own home, to a North Sydney couple still shaking from the news—this week there’s been no nicer feeling than hearing the delighted reactions of our latest Saturday Lotto winners.

We’re still on the lookout for one of our Victorian winners and our South Australian winner so if you purchased an entry into last Saturday’s draw and have a ticket you haven’t checked yet – there are over $600,000 reasons why you should!

Nothing like a FaceTime party to celebrate an Instant win
Our winners are getting creative with their celebrations lately and we are loving it! A recent favourite comes from a Robina dad who won $100,000 on a $5 Instant Scratch-Its ticket.

He told us he’d be FaceTiming his nearest and dearest to share his “sensational” winning moment and we can only imagine how that call went down. Plenty of screams of delight and close up camera angles of excited faces we hope!

Tell your pals, the Lott has introduced PayPal!
Did you hear? After listening to feedback from our players, we’ve introduced the option to use PayPal with the Lott, giving you a new way to pay and greater choice when purchasing your favourite lottery products.

There are a lot of benefits to using PayPal, including secure and more flexible payments, so it’s a great win for Aussies looking for a faster and safer way to handle their transactions.

Remote learning will keep Stars Foundations student shining
No doubt the best news for many teachers and students this week was the arrival of the Easter school holidays.

But in further good news, we were thrilled to hear from our community partner, The Stars Foundation, as they shared how they are innovating their education and support programs through this time of change.

From online classes and academic resource packs, to food deliveries for isolated students — the Stars team continues to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and girls to improve health and education outcomes.

It's been truly incredible to see the resilience and dedication of the Foundation and we look forward to the future success of the Stars students come term two.

Have a safe and happy Easter!

MESSAGE TO PLAYERS REGARDING COVID-19:
While Australia responds to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, Australia’s official lotteries continue to operate as normal. We’re committed to conducting our daily draws under the supervision of government regulators, and our winners all across the country will continue to receive their prizes. We support our retailers who remain open for business and are strictly implementing the federal government’s latest social distancing and hygiene requirements to protect their staff and customers. If it is safe for you to do so, you can visit your local store to play your favourite games. You can also play online or via the official Lott app. We’ll continue to inspire dreams, deliver wins, and bring you the games you love.
