While all eyes have been on Victoria this week, it’s been uplifting to share some good news with our players down south. In the past few days we spoke to six Victorian Saturday Lotto winners, crowned two new Monday and Wednesday Lotto millionaires, and got to surprise a mum from Epping with some winning news.

On top of all that that there’s been plenty of other prizes going to players all across the country. Check out some of our favourites below!

A sign from above leads Lower Plenty man to $889,000 TattsLotto win
We started the week on a high when we spoke to a man from Lower Plenty who believes his fortune is taking a turn for the better. It all started when he accidentally left a family heirloom on the roof of his car. Remarkably, it survived a forty-minute drive without falling off!

“I was so relieved,” the man recounted to us.

“I’m not a big believer in life after death and the universe, but I felt like it was a sign that someone was looking out for me.

“I told a few people about the good luck I was experiencing, and they suggested I get a lottery ticket.”

Turns out his streak of good fortune was truly on a roll, as he scored a division one prize worth almost nine-hundred-thousand-dollars! The generous man couldn’t wait to share his prize with his close family.

Old friends share division one win thanks to decade-long syndicate

Speaking of generous — a Melbourne winner revealed he’d be giving ten per cent of his division one prize to charity. The man is a long-time player and won a slice of the division one prize on a ticket he shared with an old friend from work

“We’ve been playing together for ten years. We always play a QuickPick for ten weeks at a time,” he said.

Not only was the man excited to share the win with his mate, he was also happily making plans to share his prize with a cause close to his heart.

“Everyone always dreams of winning division one, and I’ve always said that if I ever won the lottery, I would give 10% to charity,” he explained.

“I’m also going to give some to both of my children to help them out too.”

“I’m a millionaire?!” Port Adelaide man awakes to dream come true X Lotto news!

While it’s heartwarming to hear how our winners will be sharing their win, we always love knowing they plan to treat themselves as well! This week we called a Port Adelaide man who’d won $1 million in Wednesday Lotto and he told us how his prize will make a difference for him.

“This is fantastic! I had no idea,” he exclaimed.

“This will change my life completely.

“I will put most of the prize away for my kids, and some can go towards the home.

“I’ll have to do something to spoil myself as well, but I don’t know what that will be yet!”

Get set to celebrate: Set for Life turns five

In other good news, today marks Set for Life’s fifth Birthday! Since the game first launched on August 7, 2015, Set for Life has been giving you the chance to win a division one prize of twenty thousand dollars every month for twenty years.

So far 63 Aussies have become set for life and have collectively taken home over $302 million in prize money. This week we’ve also seen a number of thrilled players take out the shiny division two prize of five-thousand-dollars every month for a year!

It’s been wonderful sharing in these moments of joy with our winners and we can’t wait to crown our next Set for Life winners soon.

A Lott to go around

Did you know, if you've played lottery games you've helped contribute to your local community. From building hospitals to disaster recovery efforts, Australia's lotteries have been giving Aussies cause for celebration for over 120 years.

Today, we carry on that proud tradition and we’re proud to give back to the communities in which we operate.
