Set for Life eyes big milestone
Not one, but two players, have found themselves Set for Life within the space of one week. Each of the winners can now look forward to receiving $20,000 a month for 20 years.
This takes the game’s total division one tally since it began to 96, just four winners shy of a massive milestone.
A Sandgate woman couldn’t wait to ‘immediately retire from work’, while a Port Adelaide player described her win as ‘spooky’.
Nabiac woman’s last-minute decision leads to $11 million Oz Lotto win
It wasn’t until the day after the draw that a Nabiac mum discovered she was now an Oz Lotto multi-millionaire.
Completely oblivious to her windfall, the winning woman didn’t check her ticket until her son called to say there was a mystery winner in town.
“We’ve dreamt about this moment, but it was so surreal when it happened. I can’t believe I’m a multi-millionaire!” she shared.
A new home and overseas travel were top priorities for this lucky player.
Thai takeaway just what the winner ordered
A Northgate woman couldn’t wait to celebrate her $200,000 Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot first prize with a Thai takeaway dinner.
After admitting it all felt like a dream, the giddy winner shared her prize would set her up for the years to come.
“We’ve been talking about buying our first home and thinking about the future and retirement, so we’ll definitely sit down and think about our future,” she said.
