As unexpected lockdowns continued for some parts of Australia, major lottery wins certainly didn’t fail to brighten the mood for our winners this week.

Here’s some of the highlights!

Lockdown lightened for Penrith man

For one Penrith man, his Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot windfall was the cherry on top of his working week as he toiled through the lockdown.

When we called the Greater Western Sydney man, he was at work and was completely unaware of his $200,000 win.

“That’s great news!” he laughed.

“I just had a look on my phone to see, and it had just come up on my screen.

“We’re currently in lockdown at the moment, so this makes me very happy.”

Lucky Lotteries win to reunite mother and daughter

A Booker Bay mother is now happily dreaming of boarding a flight to England to visit her daughter – all thanks to her Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot 1st Prize.

Initially, the Central Coast woman thought she was being conned.

“You beauty! I nearly didn’t answer this,” she revealed.

“I’m sick of people ringing me to con me, so I ignored the phone for a bit.

“It’s been a while since I’ve seen my daughter in England, and I would really like to go and visit her.”

It’s raining millions for Melbournians

Although the sun wasn’t shining on Melbourne over the weekend, TattsLotto certainly cast a warm glow with three of the four winning entries from the weekend’s draw landing in the city

Each winning entry scored a prize worth $1,455,804.95.

One of the winners was a Werribee woman who was so shocked by her million-dollar discovery that her screams of delight woke her husband.

“My husband had gone to bed, and I was just sitting on the couch. I screamed so loudly that my husband woke up and came running down the stairs,” she explained.

“He was so worried something was wrong, but I told him it was good news!”

A winning ring: Gawler woman eyes jewellery with $1.45 million Saturday X Lotto prize!

The screams of joy continued when we called a Young Gawler woman to break the news that she’d scored division one in Saturday X Lotto and was now a millionaire.

“No, I didn’t! Are you serious? Are you kidding me?” she cried happily.

“I only bought a ticket into this draw because I had purchased a Powerball ticket last week, and I didn’t win anything, so I thought I would play Saturday X Lotto instead.

“We’ve been trying to save for a house for so long. So this means we can finally get our dream home!

“I also have been wanting a new diamond ring, so I might get myself one of those!”

We hope to hear your winning dreams soon!
