A Lott to go around: October 2020 community snapshot
Our partners continue to make a positive difference in our communities through their fantastic work.
Among the highlights from this month, we were excited by the results from the Zero Childhood Cancer program’s first research paper. Their findings show individualized genetic testing is giving seriously sick kids greater options for treatment. It’s a major step forward for treating the most aggressive types of cancer in children.
Also making waves for Childhood cancer, the My Room Children’s Cancer Charity had their most successful telethon yet, raising $2.2 million for sick kids in Victoria. And the Daniel Morcombe Foundation had their biggest ever Day for Daniel, helping to teach kids about personal safety.
