It’s been another busy week at The Lott with plenty of wonderful winner’s stories and community updates to share.

Catch-up on what you may have missed below.

Powerball’s $50 million prize was won by a Sydney player…but they are yet to claim their prize!

Thursday night’s $50 million Powerball jackpot was won… but the identity of the new multi-millionaire remains a mystery.

The ticket was not registered to a players card, meaning we couldn’t reach out to them after the draw to confirm the life-changing news!

If you are from Sydney and purchased an entry in last night’s Powerball draw please check your ticket. If you think you are holding the division one winning entry give us a call on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.

We are hoping to unite our winner with their life-changing win in time for the weekend!
No Monday blues for North Shore man

A North Shore man was pretty surprised when he checked his tickets on Sunday morning and realised he had won a division one prize of more than $1.1 million!

He shared with us he doesn’t often play Saturday Lotto, but he had an inkling he should buy a ticket…and he is certainly glad he did this time!

The family man didn’t think of himself when we asked what he planned to do with his Lotto loot.

“It honestly couldn’t have come at a better time,” he said.

“It’s going to really help me a lot and I can really look after my family.”
The Lott helps fund cystic fibrosis research

Thanks to amazing people like Dr Nigel Farrow at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation and the research the foundation does, the average survival age of someone with cystic fibrosis has grown from early teens to their 40s.

Dr Farrow has spent the past 10 years working closely with the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation (WCHF), which has funded several cystic fibrosis research projects.

“Through my past research projects, I have identified two potential ways of dealing with the faulty genes, and with funding, we can move forward to develop this treatment with the firm aim of curing the airway disease associated with cystic fibrosis” he said.

The Lott is proud to help fund ground-breaking research into paediatric cystic fibrosis through the $50,000 donation we made to the WCHF in November 2020.

Get set for Superdraw Saturday!

Tomorrow night’s Saturday Lotto draw has been supercharged offering players $20 million!

If you can match all six winning numbers in a single game panel tomorrow night, you could be sharing in a massive $20 million prize.

Imagine how your plans for the weekend would change with a share of $20 million!

Our last Superdraw crowned eight new division one winners so we can wait to see how many players will be taking home a slice of that pie this Saturday night.
