Lockdown FaceTime party to celebrate Kilmore family’s $797,000 TattsLotto win

Lockdown didn’t stop one North Melbourne family from celebrating their TattsLotto win this week. They staged a FaceTime party to mark their shared division one windfall!

“We actually buy this ticket with our daughter each week, so the three of us are in this. We called her on FaceTime yesterday and broke the news to her,” the leader of the family syndicate said.

“She was screaming so loud when she found out! She was at her house, but she was so loud that you would’ve thought she was standing in the same room as us. It was great!

“We all popped a bottle of champagne and had a bit of a phone party to celebrate.”

Persistence pays off for Hadfield best mates who scored TattsLotto windfall

A pair of Hadfield best friends also spent the weekend virtually celebrating their TattsLotto win.

The duo has been playing the same set of special numbers for more than a decade and they were ecstatic when they realised they’d finally been drawn.

“I was so shocked when I saw we’d won division one! I called my mate so many times until he finally answered and I could break the news,” one of the friends said.

“The first thing I said to him is, ‘We’ve done it! We’ve won the lottery’.

“I am so glad I am sharing it with my best mate. We are those kinds of friends that are mates for life, so it’s incredible to share the win with him.”

Tweed Heads trio toast Saturday Lotto division one win

In New South Wales, it was triple the grins for three winning friends after their decade-old syndicate scored them a division one prize of almost $800,000 in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.

“I thought there had to be some kind of error,” one of the winners declared.

“We’ve played for such a long time, and now we’ve had a division one win. It’s just amazing.

“We each picked a few numbers so many years ago. We can’t believe that they’ve finally been drawn!”
