Just when a Clayton couple thought their wedding anniversary celebrations couldn’t get any better, the pair scored a million-dollar TattsLotto win using special numbers they chose when they tied the knot!

The duo held one of the six division one winning entries from the weekend’s draw — each entry took home $1,015,392.69.

“I checked my account on Sunday and saw the win then. I thought it was a joke, and so I showed my husband, and he also thought it was a joke or some kind of prank,” the winning woman laughed.

“I can’t believe it. We’re millionaires! We picked these numbers about a decade ago when we got married, and last week we celebrated our anniversary so it feels like it was meant to be.”
Western Sydney man picks up the phone to news he’s a mid-week millionaire

A Western Sydney man has confessed his heart started popping and his hands began shaking when he discovered he’d started his Thursday as a newly-minted millionaire.

“I’ve been playing Lotto for quite some time, but I only started playing these numbers around three weeks ago,” he said.

“I never thought I’d win a prize like this. Thank you so much. 

“I’m going to retire immediately. It will be amazing.”

Cunnamulla mother wakes up to $100,000 windfall

A Cunnamulla woman enjoying a daytime sleep was woken up to the thrilling phone call revealing her $100,000 Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot windfall. 

The Queenslander admitted the entry was changed at the last minute to add an additional number.

“You’re joking! Oh my god! I’m absolutely stunned. Are you real? Is this a scam? I was having a nana nap, but I’ll happily wake up to this news!” she exclaimed.

“I always purchased two numbers into Lucky Lotteries draw but at the spur of the moment, I decided to mix things up and add an extra number!

“I’ll have to start up the barbie tonight and have a glass of bubbly to celebrate!”

A Rosenthal Heights woman was delighted to discover the Instant Scratch-Its ticket she grabbed as a lunch break boredom buster revealed a top prize worth $10,000.

“It was really unusual! I was on my lunch break and walking around the shopping centre. I was really bored. I decided to purchase Instant Scratch-Its tickets to relieve my boredom.

“As I was scratching them, I realized I’d won $20. I used the prize money to buy more with my partner. The next thing we knew, I scratched $10,000!”

The Southern Downs residents plan to put the prize towards a long-awaited house deposit.
