Many Aussies would agree that landing a major lottery win is like unwrapping the golden ticket, including one winner this week who described their windfall as a "Willy Wonka moment!"

Saturday Lotto Superdraw transforms players into multi-millionaires

For a thrilled bunch of Aussies who shared in the $20 million division one prize in the weekend’s Superdraw, waking up on a Sunday morning was extra special this week.

There were 10 division one winning entries that took out a mouth-watering prize of $2 million each!

While some players planned to use their prize to purchase a new set of wheels or a holiday, a tearful Rockhampton couple said family was the first thing on their mind.

“We’ve worked hard all our lives... We’re going to use it wisely to help our kids and family,” they said.

Meanwhile a Mornington mum likened her Superdraw win to finding a golden ticket!

“This feels like a Willy Wonka moment, like I am Charlie from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. You know how he wanted to win so bad and then he got the golden ticket, and it was a dream come true?

“With a multi-million-dollar prize, I could probably get my own chocolate factory, too.”
