Many of us are finding new ways to connect with our loved ones lately, and Mother’s Day last weekend gave us cause to find unique ways to celebrate.

But if there’s one thing we’ve learned this week, it’s that there’s nothing quite like celebrating with a shared winning moment!

Check out our wrap of our favourite winning stories.

Superdraw Saturday makes ten new Aussie millionaires
Saturday Lotto’s $20 Million Superdraws have a track record of creating multiple millionaires and last weekend’s special event was no different!

Eleven division one winning entries took home a division one prize of $1.8 million each, including one thrilled syndicate and 10 freshly minted millionaires! And we’ve got to say, these winners certainly are a caring bunch.

A Gawler great-grandmother is going to give each and every one of her extended family part of her $1.8 million windfall, a Frankston man can’t wait to pay off his kids mortgages, and a Brighton man declared his family came first.

Not to mention the Gundagai woman who could only think of her nearest and dearest when asked how she would use her prize.

“We will certainly be sharing it with our family. That’s all I can think of at the moment,” she exclaimed.

An instantly memorable Mother’s Day for these Instant Scratch-Its winners
With Aussies across the country choosing to treat mum to a bit of Instant Scratch-Its fun for Mother’s Day, we’ve had a flurry of delighted winners claim some fantastic instant top prizes this week.

Most recently we heard from a Crestmead mum who enjoyed an unforgettable Mother’s Day when she won a top prize of $100,000 on an Instant Scratch-Its ticket that was a gift from her own mother.

Another of our favourite stories came from a Cronulla mum who scored an incredible $50,000 prize on an Instant Scratch-Its ticket gifted to her by her daughter. It’s unlikely either of them will forget a gift like that!

Warrnambool retiree becomes 63rd Aussie to win $20,000 every month for twenty years!
“You’re joking? Twenty thousand dollars a month for 20 years!”

That was the stunned reaction that greeted us when we broke the news to a Warrnambool man that he had won division one in Set for Life.

When we asked the humble man how he planned to use his prize, he revealed his loved ones would be well looked after.

“I will definitely be sharing it with my family,” he said.

But the generous man did have an idea for a way he could treat himself too.

“I am a bit of a car nut! I have always wanted a Mustang! So that’s one of the first things I will be doing.

Imagine the excitement from his family when he told them the news!

It’s a complete delight to see how winning moments have been shared by Aussie families across the country. We hope to do it all again next week!
