What a week! With 27 division one winning entries in Lotto’s $20 million Superdraw Saturday last weekend we’ve had a flood of thrilled winners who’ll have a spring in their step going into the rest of the year. And that was just the beginning!

The excitement has been non-stop and we’re soaring into the weekend on a high. Check out some of the top moments from the week below!

Counting chooks and good vibes from gemstones: Superdraw winners reveal how they scored division one!
There’s been no shortage of unique stories from our Lotto Superdraw winners, who each scored a division one windfall worth $740,740.75 this week.

Some of our favourites include a Warner family, who revealed the number of chooks in their backyard helped them to choose their winning numbers, and a Henley Beach couple, who shared that resting gemstones on their tickets and getting rid of all their artificial plants led to them landing their Lotto loot.

But our hearts absolutely melted when a North Melbourne winner told us he’d soon be adopting a new best friend thanks to his Superdraw win.

“We love big dogs, like Golden Retrievers, so we are going to get an apartment with a big backyard so we can actually get one!” he said.

Young Ballarat man’s “smart arse” joke about becoming a millionaire comes true!
While the phone lines were already hot as we reached out to all of our Lotto Superdraw winners, Monday Lotto ensured we had the extra task of contacting Australia’s newest millionaire!

A young Ballarat man was the only division one winner in Monday night’s Lotto draw and took home the division one prize of $1,000,000.

“This is insane!” he exclaimed to us.

“It’s funny because I was joking with my wife last night telling her that we could be millionaires if we won division one.

“I was just being a smart arse, but I was right!”

With a punchline that’s landed them a cool $1 million, we have no doubt the young couple will be laughing through the rest of the year.

Eyes up! Jackpots are on the rise as Powerball rockets to $50 million
Among a week of highs celebrating our latest winners, our jackpotting games weren’t to be outdone and are experiencing highs of their own.

For the first time this year, Oz Lotto has climbed to a massive $30 million dollars for Tuesday night’s draw, and Powerball is serving up a whopping $50 million for next Thursday night!

We’ve been thrilled to see nine Oz Lotto and five Powerball division one winners so far in 2020. Now these soaring jackpots have grabbed our attention and set our sights skyward.

It’s created a ripple of excitement to carry us through the weekend and into the week beyond where we’ll eagerly be waiting to see if we’ll be crowning new multi-millionaires.

Across the country, parents, teachers, and children tuned in to the livestream to learn about important online safety strategies related to cyberbullying, protecting personal information and reporting unwanted contact.

We believe our communities should be places for fun and optimism and we’re proud to support this important initiative. It’s a win for safer communities everywhere. Stay tuned for a full update soon!
