A Schofields woman is taking her New Year’s resolutions to the next level with plans to purchase a new washing machine and car following her $50,000 top prize Instant Scratch-Its win.

The top prize winning $4 Monkey Business Bingo Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased at Schofields Village Newsagency, Shop 8, Schofields Village, 227 Railway Terrace, Schofields.

Speaking with us, the Western Sydney resident relayed how her instant windfall occurred.

“I was stunned silent!” she laughed.

“I regularly purchase the Instant Scratch-Its tickets as a thing to do. I always go for the $5 Crosswords and $4 Galaxy Bingo tickets, as they’re my favourite.

“However, when I went to purchase the Galaxy Bingo ticket, the team member told me they had replaced it with the Monkey Business Bingo. I thought to myself, ‘Oh, I much prefer the old one’.

“Little did I know, the new ticket would land me a $50,000 top prize! I was quick to change my mind, and I much prefer it now that I’ve won!

“I had to check the ticket five or six times to make sure it was correct. I even gave it to my daughter to check over.

“Things like this never happen to me!

“It’s a wonderful prize before Christmas.

“I desperately have to buy another car as mine is on its last leg after 22 years,” she said.

“I need a new washing machine too!

“Don’t worry, I’ve got a list of things to upgrade, and the prize will come in handy!”

Schofields Village Newsagency team said they couldn’t be happier to have sold a top prize Instant Scratch-Its ticket to a local woman and wish her all the best with her prize.
