The mystery of Adelaide’s newest Keno millionaire has been solved with the anonymous shopper coming forward to claim their prize, four days after the win.
 
The happy winner scored a Spot 10 prize of $1,474,348.50 in Keno draw 2360269 drawn Friday 20 April.
 
How the winner plans to spend their Keno windfall and begin their life as a millionaire will forever be a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
 
The Keno Spot 10 winner was the first since December 2017, when a Port Adelaide man won $2,017,662.20.
 
The winning entry was purchased at BP Mawson Lakes, 603-612 Salisbury Highway, Mawson Lakes, South Australia.
 
BP Mawson Lakes manager Matthew said he was excited to unite the regions winner with their prize.
 
“This is the first big prize that a customer has won from the BP,” he said.
 
“We are pretty excited. It is nice to have a big win.”
 
Last financial year, there were 27 Keno Spot 8, 9 and 10 winners across South Australia who landed more than $5.98 million.  Spot 10 was won twice during this time, remarkably both on the same day, 1 May 2017.
 
Keno is a game whereby 20 numbers are randomly generated from a possible 80. To win a Keno Spot 8 prize, a player must match all eight of the numbers selected on their ticket against the 20 numbers drawn.
