A tireless and reinvigorated Mornington Peninsula man has vowed to continue to work as hard as ever despite pocketing more than $1 million in the most recent Monday & Wednesday Lotto.

The Melbourne man held the only division one winning entry in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4164, drawn Monday 14 March 2022. The division one winning entry scored $1,006,797.10.

Confirming his huge win with us, the shocked man said he’d use the money to keep his business dreams alive, but not before celebrating the win over a few drinks with family.

“I couldn’t believe my eyes when I checked this morning! This is too big to believe!” he said.

“I love to play Monday & Wednesday Lotto but the most I’d won before was $50 or $100, and then I looked down and saw this huge number and thought, ‘That can’t be real’.

“COVID-19 has been a really trying time, so this money is going to go a long way for me. Who knows, I might take a trip overseas or help my family – the possibilities with over $1 million are honestly endless.

“This really is so amazing. Thank you!

“I can still hardly believe I’ve won.”

His winning System 8 QuickPick was purchased at Dromana Authorised Newsagency, 177 Point Nepean Road, Dromana.

Dromana Authorised Newsagency manager Paul Fancett said the team was ecstatic to have sold another division 1 winning entry after selling a major Powerball winning ticket last year

“It’s always great to sell a division one winning entry, but it’s even better when we know it’s going to someone in our community,” he shared.

“Best of luck to him, I hope this makes his 2022.”
