Players across New South Wales and the ACT are sporting winning grins this week after 174 members shared a slice of $1.42 million from the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.

The long-running syndicate held one of the 14 division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4363, on Saturday 13 May 2023. Each division one winning entry took home $1,428,571.43.

In addition to winning division one, the syndicate’s marked System 14 entry also scored division two 12 times, division three 36 times, division four 420 times, division five 720 times and division six 565 times, bolstering their total win to $1,594,815.43.

Each member of the syndicate received a share worth $9,165.62.

However, some members of the New South Wales syndicate may have yet to realise their good fortune, prompting lottery officials to urge players to check their tickets as soon as possible.

The winning syndicate was established by World News, Shop 9, K1, World Square Shopping Centre, 644 George Street, Sydney.

World News owner Anandrav Barot said he was bursting with excitement when he found out his group syndicate had crowned 174 winners across the state.

“I was very excited and happy when I found out that we had sold a division one winning entry, and even happier to hear that it was our group syndicate!” he said.

“We will put posters and balloons up everywhere in our store to let our customers know that we’ve sold a division one winning syndicate.

“This is our fourth division one winning entry since I’ve owned the newsagency. The last division one winning entry that we sold was in September 2015!

“I’m sure every syndicate member has some amazing dreams and aspirations to complete with their prize. Congratulations to all of our syndicate members and we hope you enjoy your prize!”
