A Sale woman has given her husband the surprise of a lifetime by running to him crying and screaming about their $901,000 TattsLotto win.

The Gippsland region resident held one of the six division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4311, drawn Saturday 12 November 2022, and took home a total prize of $901,771.82.

“I couldn’t believe it!” she laughed when we confirmed her windfall.

“I was scanning my lottery tickets on The Lott app and on the very last ticket, it came up as a winner.

“The Lott app told me that I’d won the division one prize and to ring The Lott head office – I was in shock. The winning numbers were flashing up at me!

“I ran straight to my husband, and I said to him, ‘Guess what! We’ve won TattsLotto!’. I was crying and screaming.

“I’ve been playing for more than 30 years. A very long time. It feels good to have finally won big!

“We’re pretty laid-back people, but we will still try and celebrate this occasion!”

When asked how they planned to enjoy their newfound fortune, the dynamic duo revealed it would go towards helping their nearest and dearest.

“We will definitely look after our children and their families!” she said.

“Our family is our number one priority!

“Thank you so much for this phone call.”

Their winning marked System 8 entry was purchased at Sale Centre Lotto, Shop 40, Gippsland Centre, 37-39 Cunningham Street, Sale.

Sale Centre Lotto owner Jenny Gilbert said her team was thrilled to have sold their second division one winning entry for the year.

“What a wonderful time of the year to discover that one of our lucky customers has taken home a division one prize!” she said.

“Our last division one win was only five months ago, so to relive all the excitement is fantastic!

“All of our customers this morning had joined in on the excitement and helped us take a celebratory photo. It’s lovely!

“We would like to wish our winner all the best with her prize and we’re absolutely delighted on their behalf. Congratulations to the winner from all of the Sale Centre Lotto team!”
