If ever there’s a good reason to let out some choice words or have a good cry, it’s because you’ve just discovered a major lottery win!

Check out this week’s winning highlights:

Langwarrin woman’s last-minute decision pays off with Set for Life win

A Langwarrin woman almost didn’t buy her Set for Life ticket, admitting she’d been feeling off that day. However her intuition took over, and she thanked her lucky stars when she found out she’d landed the division one prize of $20,000 and month for 20 years.

“I was in tears, shaking. “I said to my dog, ‘S***! You won’t believe me, but I won! I gave him a Schmako, but now he can have endless Schmakos!” she recounted.

“You wouldn’t believe it. I wasn’t feeling myself when I purchased the Set for Life ticket on Saturday, and I had no emotional energy – I couldn’t be bothered to get out of the house.

“But I had this overwhelming sense to go get the ticket. I’m thanking my lucky stars for getting out of the house and buying that ticket; look what’s happened!”
“Excuse my French!”: Narrabundah woman scores $100,000 Lucky Lotteries win

It’s not unusual for our winning phone calls to be met with some colourful reactions, and we couldn’t help but smile when a Narrabundah woman let out some choice words as we broke the news of her Lucky Lotteries win.

“Holy S***! Excuse my French! You have no idea how much this means to me,” she cried.

“Between caring for my father and other things, I have a lot going on in my life. This is life-changing for me.

“I also haven’t been on a holiday in probably eight years! I’d love to do an overseas trip.”

Early retirement awaits Wollongong's latest $100,000 Lucky Lotteries winner

And Lucky Lotteries was at it again, giving a Wollongong woman the opportunity to bring forward her retirement after winning the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot 1st Prize of $100,000.

“It’s just the best feeling ever,” the winning woman declared.

“It’s a bit hit and miss when I check my tickets – very sporadic. I thought, ‘I’ve got some tickets in my purse’, so I decided to check them.

“I’d been carrying around one worth $100,000 for a couple of weeks unbeknownst to me!

“It will bring forward retirement by about a year. That’s a very nice prospect to look forward to.”

Townsville man bursts into tears of joy over $1.6 million win

While our Wollongong winner happily contemplates retirement, further north a Townsville man is looking forward to finally buying his very own home thanks to his $1.6 million Saturday Lotto win!

“I’ve played these numbers for about 25 years! I knew they’d come up one day,” the winning man exclaimed.

“I finally checked the ticket this morning. My brain just couldn’t think. I just burst into tears and woke my wife up to tell her.”

“This money is going to help us. We’ve been renting for decades, and we’d love to buy our own house. We can do whatever we want! We’ve already started planning.”

We look forward to sharing more winning news next week!
