“At first, we thought I’d won $30,000. Then we double-checked the ticket and I remember thinking, ‘oh my goodness, we’ve won $30 million!’.

“First thing on our list is buying our first home. Thank you so much! I feel like I need to pinch myself again to make sure it’s real.”

Stunned Hamilton man

“I woke up on Sunday morning and had almost forgotten about the draw or that I had an entry in it.

“Once I did check it though, I was almost blown off my chair!”

The man was in such disbelief he couldn’t even think of a way to use the prize money.

“I’ve been playing for many decades, and I’ve had many lottery prizes over the years but definitely not division one!”
