No matter which entry type you play when it comes to your favourite lottery games the most important thing is that you’re in it for the chance to win it.

While that might sound a bit cliché, this week we saw the smallest possible Saturday Lotto entry type score the entire division one prize!

Check out how it happened, plus the winning highlights from the week.

Inner-city Brisbane mother and son both multi-millionaires after Saturday Gold Lotto win

A Brisbane mother and son were completely stunned to discover their minimum four-game marked entry yielded a multi-million-dollar Lotto windfall last weekend.

The pair held the only division one winning entry and took home a prize worth more than $5.9 million.

“At first glance, I thought I’d won $5,000, but then no, it was more than $5 million!” the winning mum exclaimed.

“I bought the ticket with my son, so it’s just perfect. We will be sharing the prize straight down the middle.”

The surprised son is looking forward to investing his share of the prize, while the thrilled mum explained she’d now be able to follow her passions and go back to studying.

Goes to show that even the smallest entry-type could still change your life in a big way!

Sunnybank man spells out $100,000 Instant Scratch-Its win

Further proving that the best things can come from small packages, a Sunnybank man scored the top prize on a $5 Instant Scratch-Its ticket this week.

“I’ve never cried as much as I did yesterday,” he laughed.

“I couldn’t believe it. It was such a good day. I was in tears.”

With $100,000 now in his pocket, it’s no small wonder he’s looking forward to upgrading his home.

$102,000 Lucky Lotteries win distracts Scullin man from busy workday

We love a big winning reaction, so it was an absolute delight to break the news to a Scullin man who scored 1st Prize in this week’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.

“You’ve got to be kidding me!” he screamed when we called him.

“Hang on, I am at work, let me go to a quiet room.

“I can’t believe this. This is so, so, so good!”

The ecstatic Canberra man said his prize would go a long way to paying off his mortgage but he’d also treat himself by making a few upgrades to his car.

Mater Foundation research set to give newborns the best possible start to life

In a week of big things coming from small moments, it was an honour to make a $500,000 contribution that will help the smallest new arrivals to our world.

The donation will support two Mater Foundation research projects; the first focuses on the health of preterm babies while the second is aimed at reducing stillbirths.

Stillbirths and preterm births affect thousands of Australian families and this research aims to make a significant difference to the wellbeing of mothers and their babies.
