Forget sibling rivalry, this week it was all about sibling success after a trio of brothers from Richmond scored a division one prize worth over $511,000.

“We play every week! We’ve been playing these same numbers for 40 years,” explained one happy brother. 

“I checked the ticket, I spent about 10 minutes double-checking it to make sure it was right, and I hadn’t made a mistake.

“Once I realised it was true, I had the honour and pleasure of telling my brothers we were division one winners.”

Seaford Rise woman becomes X Lotto millionaire thanks to late mum’s numbers

From winning brothers to a loving mother — an emotional Seaford Rise woman shared how the news she had become an overnight millionaire made her feel close to mum.  

“You know those were my mum’s numbers. After she passed away, I started using her numbers,” the tearful woman explained.  

“I feel like she helped deliver my win. God bless her!”

Mums are truly great, so we were thrilled to hear a Salisbury Heights mum had been treated to a very special belated birthday surprise. 

The woman received some scratchies from her family and having only recently scratched them discovered she’d won a top prize of $100,000! 

“I said to my husband ‘this is the best birthday present ever!’,” she explained.

“The kids need a new bed, and we need a new lounge suite. Every time we sit on it, we’ll think about how we won!”

A St Albans Park couple are planning to give some gifts of their own this week after they scored a $25,000 Instant-Scratch-Its top prize. The generous pair couldn’t wait to pay their good fortune forward.

“For us, this is like winning a million dollars! We couldn’t be happier,” the overjoyed couple said. 

“We want to go and buy vouchers for our neighbours and pop it in their mailboxes at night, so they don’t know. 

“We’re not going to write our names on them. We’re just going to do it anonymously, as a little surprise.”
