The Powerball draw is televised each Thursday night on channel 7TWO at approximately 8:30pm AEST (9:30pm AEDT). Draws are also periodically televised on channel Seven.

The draw footage of the winning numbers is also made available to view on The Lott Powerball results page by selecting the ‘Watch draw’ button below the results table and on The Lott YouTube channel under the Powerball playlist.

On a Thursday night, Powerball is drawn from 2 barrels. 7 numbers are drawn from the main barrel (numbered from 1 to 35) and 1 Powerball number is drawn from the Powerball barrel (numbered from 1 to 20). To win Powerball Division 1 you need to select all 7 winning numbers plus the Powerball in a single game panel. You can win a prize with as little as 2 winning numbers and the Powerball number.

The Oz Lotto draw is televised each Tuesday night on channel 7TWO at approximately 8:30pm AEST (9:30pm AEDT). The draw is also shown on channel Seven on some occasions.

On a Tuesday night, 9 balls are drawn at random from forty seven balls numbered 1 to 47. The first seven balls drawn are the "winning numbers" and the last two numbers are the "supplementary numbers". To win Oz Lotto Division 1 you need to match all 7 winning numbers in a single game panel. You can win a prize with as little as 3 winning numbers plus 1 supplementary number.

Larger $20 Million Superdraw and Megadraw events are also televised on channel Seven.
