Having a win of any amount is an exciting event

For some lucky customers, it can be life-changing. If you’re part of The Lott Members Club, you can rest assured we’ll let you know if you win. From an email for a small win, to a personal phone call if you win first prize. Now that’s a phone call we’d all love to receive.

If you win a prize from a purchase made using your online lottery account:

  • We will deposit the prize money directly into the same account, usually the next day.
  • You will also be notified by email about your entry winning a prize.

For Division 1 and Lucky Lotteries Jackpot or 1st Prizes:

  • The prize money will be deposited directly into your online lottery account after a two-week provisional period has elapsed.
  • We'll also call you personally with the good news!

Guide to state lottery jurisdictions:

   Claiming on someone's behalf

If claiming a prize from a winning lottery ticket which is registered to a players membership card on behalf of the registered customer, you will need a Prize Claim Form signed and completed by the registered card holder with the original ticket, signed letter of authorisation with the name of the person authorised to pick up the prize, stating the ticket number, registered card holders contact phone number and the prize amount that you are collecting.

The registered card holder should sign the authorisation and provide signature identification so the request can be verified. The person authorised to pick up the prize should bring identification for verification and audit purposes. This prize will be paid as per the Prize Claim form; Cheque or Direct Deposit.

   Lost or damaged tickets

If your lottery or Instant Scratch-Its ticket is lost or damaged
you will need to complete a Lost or Damaged Ticket Search per ticket, which will assist us in locating your ticket in our lottery system. A fee of $15 is associated with this search.

Once completed, send the form via post to:

Locked Bag 888

If your ticket is damaged please return the damaged ticket with the form, remembering to keep copies for your own records. If we are successful in locating your ticket a 'Stop Payment' can be placed on your ticket which will prevent anyone else from claiming your prize provided it has not already been paid.

If you are a member and you lose your lotto ticket registered to your membership card, you should call us on 131 868. Once we verify your identity we can arrange for a cheque or free ticket certificate to be mailed to you (made out to the name and address registered on the Tatts Card).

If you lose your ticket together with your membership card call us immediately so that we can place a 'Stop Payment' on your ticket which will prevent anyone else from claiming your prize provided that it has not yet been paid.

*Membership terms apply. If you’re lucky enough to win Division 1, you’ll still need to wait the normal prize payment period. Membership terms and conditions apply and are available in-store or online. Your online account must be verified before you can enable electronic prize payments.
