Giving back to Australian communities is in our blood here at The Lott. In fact, we’ve been doing it for over 120 years!
As well as our contributions to State and Territory Governments, Tatts has provided support for charities and community events by supporting causes that mean a lot.
Over the years, if you’ve played lottery games, you’ve helped contribute to your local community – from building hospitals to assisting disaster recovery efforts and even helping to find a COVID-19 vaccine.
And while we all love a win, there’s something we love even more, and that’s giving back to our communities.
In April 2020, The Lott through Golden Casket, donated $1 million to The University of Queensland’s School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences to help accelerate research into a COVID-19 vaccine.
We want to help Australians when they need it most. In January this year, we donated over $1.8 million to bushfire relief efforts to support those doing it tough.
Australian lotteries have a strong history of supporting the health sector. From funding world class research, to building Starlight rooms through to individualised treatment for children’s cancer, we have a proud history supporting hospitals across the country.
The Lott has supported the work of the Daniel Morcombe Foundation for many years to help expand its child safety programs and the assistance it gives to victims of crime.
