A Narellan man couldn’t contain his shock this afternoon after discovering he scored the $200,000 1st Prize in today’s Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw. 

The south-west Sydney player won the 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1505, drawn Monday 2 November 2020. 

As well as winning the coveted 1st Prize, the happy winner also scored a $1,000 consolation prize. 

When we broke the news to the man this afternoon, he revealed the win had come at the perfect time. 

“How good’s that!” he exclaimed. 

“Two hundred and one thousand dollars! You’re a lifesaver! That’s made my year! 

“It’s been a tough year for everyone, so it’s good to have some good news. 

“It’s come at the best time for me as I’ve just retired. 

“I’ll have to think about how I want to spend it and absorb the news before I do anything rash. It’s absolutely a great boost to my retirement plans. 

“I play Lucky Lotteries every week, but I’ve never won anything like this before. 

“I’m stoked if my win is in the double digits! 

“It’s just fantastic!” 

The happy winner purchased his winning entry of two consecutive numbers at Narellan Newsagency, Shop 33, Narellan Town Centre, 326 Camden Valley Way, Narellan. 

Narellan Newsagency owner David Thomsen said he was thrilled to have sold another major prize. 

“The family has had this business for over 30 years, so we’ve had a few wins over that time,” he explained. 

“We’ve sold a few Lucky Lotteries 1st Prizes, but the last major prize we sold was last year when we sold a $5 million Oz Lotto ticket. 

“It’s always great to have another winner and even better it’s a local and a regular customer.
