The “wrong” ticket leads Erina woman to $100,000 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize
An Erina woman has revealed purchasing the wrong ticket has never felt so right after she scored a $100,000 Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot 1st Prize on a different entry type than she usually purchased.
The Central Coast woman won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10427, drawn Thursday 26 November 2020.
When we broke the news to the winner this morning, she admitted she immediately needed to sit down from the shock.
“You’re kidding! I’d better sit down! You’re kidding! I can’t believe it!” she exclaimed.
“My husband is wondering what is going on. I’ve told him to sit down too! I’ve just won $100,000!
“It’s wonderful! I play every week, and whenever I play, I usually get four sequential numbers.
“When I got these ones, the girl accidentally gave me four random numbers.
“She said I could cancel it, but I told her not to worry about it. I said ‘I’m meant to have these numbers’.
“They really were meant for me! Thank god I didn’t cancel my ticket!
“I’ve been playing for donkey’s years and have always had some small wins. I can’t believe I’ve won!”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her prize, the thrilled woman said she couldn’t wait to splash out on some long-overdue home renovations.
“I’m going to get a brand new bathroom, ensuite and kitchen,” she declared.
“We’ve been needing to upgrade for a while but never had the savings to do it.
“It will feel like a whole new house for the new year!
“If there is anything leftover, I’d love to donate to our local hospital.”
The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry of four random numbers at Supanews Erina Corner, Shop T345 Erina Fair, 620-658 Terrigal Drive, Erina.
Supanews Erina Corner team leader Tabitha Lemon said she was thrilled to discover her outlet had sold another major prize.
“Wow! Oh my goodness! How exciting!” she exclaimed.
“It’s been a couple of years since we’ve sold a major prize, so it’s very exciting for us.
“Congratulations to our winner! We wish her all the best!”
