A George Town woman has confessed she’s keen to have a nap today because she ‘didn’t sleep a wink’ after discovering her $511,000 TattsLotto win last night.

The happy winner held one of the 10 division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4089, drawn Saturday 26 September 2020. Each division one winning entry takes home a prize of $511,318.20.

Sharing her joy with us, the tired but happy winner recounted the moment she discovered the life-changing windfall.

“Normally I check my ticket first thing on Sunday morning, but for some reason, I forgot yesterday,” she explained.

“It wasn’t until late last night I realised so I checked my ticket and saw I had won.

“I was so excited! I didn’t sleep at all. Not a wink!

“It’s just awesome!

“I’ve played every week for a lot of years. I always play the same numbers.

“There are a couple of birthday numbers in there, but there are also a few I chose at random.

“I don’t know why I chose them, but I’m glad I did! “I’ve been too excited to do anything. But now it’s been confirmed I’ll use the rest of the day to relax. I might even catch up on some sleep!”

When asked how she planned to enjoy her windfall, the thrilled winner immediately declared she was on the search for a new set of wheels.

“A new car is the first thing on the agenda!” she declared.

“Then I think we will use it to make some other home improvements.

“We’d also like to use it to travel when we can. Hopefully to explore more of Australia or even further afield.”

The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her 12 game QuickPick entry at Racecourse Newsagency & Gifts, Shop 4, Centro Launceston Shopping Centre, 15 Racecourse Crescent, Launceston.
