Melbourne woman ready to “put a smile on lots of people’s faces” with TattsLotto surprise

A Melbourne woman was ready to celebrate and put a bottle of Moet into the fridge after discovering she was a TattsLotto division one winner yesterday morning.

“I’ve only just discovered the news! How exciting,” she exclaimed when we called to confirm her prize.

“I saw you called and texted, but at first, I thought it was a scam. You’ve got the best job in the world.

“Woohoo!  Thank you very much.

“I play every week and have used family birthdates and things like that, but this was just a random ticket.

“Those numbers don’t mean anything to me… but they do now.

“It’s very exciting that after all these years of playing, it’s finally paid off.  You’ve got to be in it to win it!

“I’ll pay off my mortgage and then I’ll work out how to divide it among my family. It’s going to put a smile on lots of people’s faces!

“I’ve got a bottle of Moet in the cupboard and I’ll be putting that into the fridge to celebrate!”

The woman’s four-game QuickPick entry was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

Footscray shopper takes home TattsLotto division one prize

A Footscray shopper was among the three Victorians who scored division one in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

They purchased their winning marked System 7 entry at Footscray Lottery Centre, Shop 89 Footscray Market, 81 Hopkins Street, Footscray.

How the winner plans to enjoy their prize will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous.

Cheltenham TattsLotto prize yet to be claimed

A Cheltenham player has started the week as a division one winner, but first, they need to check their TattsLotto ticket and come forward to claim their prize.

The division one winning entry is unregistered, which means we have no way to contact the winner to break the exciting news and must wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.

The winning entry was purchased at Southland Lotteries, Shop K318, Westfield Southland, 1239 Nepean Highway, Cheltenham.

Southland Lotteries owner Farah Jabeen said it was the first time her outlet had sold a division one winning entry under her and her husband’s ownership.

“We are just as excited as the person who has won division one! We can't wait to see their reaction when they get the news. It will be such a surreal experience to see them rejoicing,” she said.

“This is such a huge amount, and it could completely change their life for the better.

“We really would like to wish them all the best so that they can secure their future and also fulfil their dreams.”

We’re urging all players who purchased a TattsLotto ticket from Southland Lotteries to check their tickets as soon as possible.
