Fresh from the golf course, a Peakhurst man is feeling like he’s hit a hole-in-one after discovering he scored $1 million in the recent Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw.
The New South Wales resident held one of the four division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4339, drawn Wednesday 15 November 2023 and took home $1 million.
“You’re joking! I was not expecting this!” he exclaimed when we confirmed his prize.

“I’m glad you didn’t tell me while I was on the golf course. I was already having a bad game, and I know I wouldn’t have been able to concentrate after this news.

“We’ve had a hell of a year between my wife and myself, so this is just unbelievable.
“She’s here with me now. We’re so excited.
“I’ve been playing Lotto for years and years. Probably well over 20 years. The most I’ve won is $600.
“I use the same numbers every time. I didn’t choose them for any particular reason but there certainly my lucky numbers now.”
When asked how he would be using his million-dollar prize, the winning man confessed he was too stunned to think of anything straight away.
“I don’t know! We’re overwhelmed,” he shared.
“We’ll give some to the kids and then have a think about what else to do.”
