There were a few tears and plenty of cheers when a Beaudesert couple awoke this morning to discover they’d bagged an incredible $1 million prize in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw.

The Queensland residents held one of the three division one winning entries across the nation in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4277, drawn Wednesday 12 April 2023, and took home $1 million.

“Oh, you are joking!” the winning wife cried when we called to confirm their windfall.

“Oh mate, you’ve changed our lives!

“I’ve always dreamt of getting a phone call like this but never thought it would ever happen.

“Oh! My kids are going to have the best Christmas ever!

“This is unreal.

“It’s going to allow us to share it with our family and set us up for the rest of our lives.

“Thank you so much.”

Their winning marked 12-game entry was purchased at Beaudesert News, 97 Brisbane Street, Beaudesert.

The team at Beaudesert News said they were over the moon for their winning customers and wished them all the best.

The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4277 on Wednesday 12 April 2023 were 32, 12, 6, 45, 36, and 2, while the supplementary numbers were 10 and 29.
