A warm-hearted Wantirna woman’s dream of sharing a $1 million Monday & Wednesday Lotto win with her children and grandchildren has blossomed into a beautiful reality.

The Melburnian held one of the four division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4339, drawn Wednesday 15 November 2023 and pocketed $1 million.

The winning woman was basking in a holiday on the sun-soaked shores of North Queensland when she received a phone call from us this morning revealing her million-dollar win.

“Oh my god! Oh my god!” she screamed alongside her daughter.

“That’s wonderful – wonderful news! Oh, don’t you bring the best news to people!

“I even looked at the numbers on my ticket and said, ‘Oh, those are s*** numbers!’. Well, I guess they’re not anymore. They’re my lucky numbers!

“We just arrived on holidays in North Queensland and we hadn’t had a chance to check our ticket.

“I’ve always dreamt of winning the lottery one day, and I always said I’d share it with my family. It’s been a long-standing dream of mine.

“I’ve visited the same TattsLotto agency for six years, and I don’t think they’ve sold a major lottery win in a long time, so I’m so happy for them.”

With a million-dollar win about to flip her world upside down, the winning woman shared she would throw a ‘big bash’ to celebrate.

“I’m going to have a big party, a big bash!” she shared.

“This is something worth celebrating!”

Her winning marked System 7 entry was purchased at Manfre’s Hairdressing & TattsLotto, Shop 11, Wantirna Mall Shopping Centre, Mountain Highway, Wantirna.

Manfre’s Hairdressing & TattsLotto manager Romina Manfre said she was in astonishment to have sold a division one winning entry to a local and regular customer.

“It’s such wonderful news! We were just wondering if the prize had gone to a regular customer and we’re so pleased to hear it has,” she said.

“We’re always over the moon to have major lottery wins at Manfre’s Hairdressing & TattsLotto. Our customers love hearing about it, and it truly brings the community together.

“We had sold a division two winning entry in Powerball earlier this year, and it was a great win as there were only two division two winners so they each scored $200,000!

“In previous years, we sold a division one winning entry in Saturday Lotto right before the COVID lockdown.

“What a perfect time to land right in time for Christmas and I’m sure they’ve very deserving of the prize. We couldn’t be happier for them, and we wish them all the best with their prize.”
