An Endeavour Hills woman who has been through a tough time in recent weeks says her $5.6 million Oz Lotto win has helped bring light back into her life.

The Victorian held the only division one winning entry nationally in Oz Lotto draw 1422 on Tuesday 18 May 2021. She takes home a division one prize of $5.6 million.

When we called the Melbourne woman this morning, she was completely oblivious to her division one win.

“Stop it! Did you say you’re calling from The Lott?” she questioned.

“Oh my god! Oh my god!

“I am so sorry; I can’t stop crying.

“Are you kidding me?

“I am feeling so many mixed emotions right now.

“Oh sh**! This is crazy.

“I can’t even hold the phone right now. I can’t stop shaking!

“Sorry, I am all over the place right now.

“I’ve had quite a tough time lately, so this just adds some light to my life.

“I am so emotional. I need to hang up this phone and just break down.

“This is incredible.”

When asked how she planned to enjoy her multi-million dollar prize, the emotional winner said she needed time to let the news sink in.

“We will definitely help our family,” she declared.

“I am sure we will go on a few holidays too. But otherwise, I am not sure. I can’t think straight.”

The winning marked 18-game entry was purchased at Endeavour Lotto & News, Shop 53/54 Endeavour Hills Shopping Centre, Matthew Flinders Ave & Heatherton Road, Endeavour Hills.

Endeavour Lotto & News owner Usharani Vinu said she was ecstatic to have made one of her customers a division one winner.

“It’s great news,” she said.

“We were so excited when we found out we’d helped make one of our customers a multi-millionaire.

“We’d love to send our congratulations to our winner. We hope this prize makes a great difference to your life.

“Fingers crossed this is the start of a winning streak! We love making division one winners.”
