Smoko break to become permanent for Oz Lotto winner
An unsuspecting Melbourne construction worker in his 20s has had a smoko break to remember after hearing the news he won $10 million in last night’s Oz Lotto draw.
The young man from Blackburn held the only division one winning entry nationally in Oz Lotto draw 1292 drawn Tuesday 20 November 2018 and takes home the entire division one prize of $10 million.
As well as winning the life-changing $10 million division one prize, the thrilled winner also won division six and division seven, bolstering his total prize to $10,000,039.55.
The winner was oblivious to his good fortune until we made contact with him while he was on his smoko break.
“Holy sh*t! Holy sh*t! Woo!” he exclaimed in disbelief.
“Oh my god! I’m lying on the ground. Oh my god! I don’t know how to feel. I don’t feel like myself!
“Oh my god! I am in shock! Wow! I don’t know what to say. My heart is beating and I am shaking.
“I don’t think my family will believe me when I tell them. I am a bit of a jokester so I’ll have to try and convince them.”
When asked how he planned to spend his multi-million dollar windfall, the happy man revealed his smoko break was about to become permanent.
“I’ll be buying some houses for sure!” he declared.
“But for today I’m walking out of here. I won’t be going back to work after smoko.
“I’m walking out right now. I think everyone will come with me for a celebratory drink!
“I’m out of here for the day!”
The over-the-moon man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his 50-game QuickPick entry online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
