Casual stroll nets Caulfield man a captivating $670,000 TattsLotto win
A leisurely stroll past a local newsagency has now become an unforgettable memory for a Caulfield man after the TattsLotto ticket he purchased on a whim delivered him a $670,000 windfall.
The Melburnian held one of the 10 division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto 4391, drawn Saturday 19 August 2023 and took home a total division one prize of $676,772.50.
“It’s truly remarkable,” he exclaimed when we confirmed the newfound fortune.
“I’ve been playing on and off for years now. It’s not a regular occurrence – just now and then.
“I was walking past the newsagency in Caulfield and decided to treat myself to a ticket. It was a spur-of-the-moment.
“We will keep this win very private but will undoubtedly celebrate under wraps!”
The Victorian resident looks forward to starting a new chapter as he sets his sights on a new place to call home.
“We’re hoping to find a new family home, whether it’s an apartment or a house,” he shared.
“But for now, we will enjoy his win and the sunshine!”
His winning System entry was purchased at Caulfield Authorised Newsagency, 14 Derby Road, Caulfield East.
