A South Coast tradie is knocking off permanently after today discovering he’s woken up a millionaire, winning division one in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw.

The New South Wales player held the only division one winning entry nationally in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3864, drawn Monday 29 April 2019. He takes home a division one prize of $1,000,000.

The man was completely oblivious to his millionaire status when we called him this morning to break the news.

“You’re joking?” he questioned.

“Thank you very much! I can’t believe it!

“Wow. This is so hard to believe because I’ve never won anything in my life!

“I play Monday Lotto every week and I’ll probably keep playing!”

The stunned winner told us he was completely shocked by the news and revealed he’d need some time to think about how he’d use his windfall.

“I don’t know yet! I really don’t know what to say. I’m totally shocked!” he said.

“The first think I will do is retire, that’s for sure!”

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning 18-game QuickPick entry at Sturgiss Newsagency, 110-112 Junction Street, Nowra.

Sturgiss Newsagency team member Leonie Blacka said she couldn’t think of a happier way to start the day than discovering her outlet had sold a division one winning entry.

"We are very excited to hear that one of our valued customers has won this life changing prize!” she exclaimed.

“This will be our second major prize in the last fortnight and we couldn't be happier.

“We wish the lucky winner and their family all the best! Congratulations!"
