For 21 nights, Brisbane will be immersed in the magic of Christmas with The Lott by Golden Casket City Hall Lights.

Commencing on the night of Friday, 8 December and running until Christmas Eve, the annual show transforms Brisbane's iconic City Hall with a vibrant visual and audio display, making visitors feel like Christmas is all around.

This year, a story of setting up the Christmas tree and placing decorations, will be narrated by Australian football royalty and Queenslander, Katrina Gorry.

In its 11th year, the City Hall Lights has become an integral and much-anticipated event with tens of thousands of visitors viewing the lights each year.

The Lottery Corporation CEO Sue van der Merwe will be on hand to switch on the display for the eager audience.

"Christmas serves as a gathering point for families, and there's a profound sense of joy in being a part of something that unites people," she said.

"Marking the 11th year we have supported this marvellous event, we wish all our customers and their families a merry Christmas and a safe and happy holiday season."

Brisbanites and visitors have the chance to view The Lott by Golden Casket City Hall Lights between 8 and 24 December 2023. The free show occurs every 15 minutes from 7:30pm and is best viewed from the centre of King George Square.
