A Toowoomba woman who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis says her life has changed after today discovering she won $1 million in Wednesday’s Gold Lotto draw.

The emotional woman held one of the four division one winning entries nationally in Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 3857, drawn Wednesday 3 April 2019.

Each winning entry took home a division one prize of $1,000,000.

When we broke the news to the elated woman this afternoon, she said the win would make her life easier.

“Is that a joke?” she questioned.

“Oh my gosh! This is amazing!

“I’m having my third cup of coffee for the day, but I certainly don’t need it now!

“I have goose bumps. I tell you what, it is a bit of a shock!

"When my daughter comes over I will tell her that I’m a millionaire. She’s going to be so happy.

“My goodness, I am a bit shaky!

“I am starting to cry. I just wish my husband was still here to enjoy this with me.”

When we asked how she planned to spend the win, the Queensland woman said she would donate to a charity that helps Multiple Sclerosis sufferers.

“I have MS, so this will make life easier and a lot more comfortable. It really will change my life,” she admitted.

“I will donate to a Multiple Sclerosis charity, so that I can help people like myself.

“Then I will get some renovations done on my house. I’ve needed to do a few things around the house for a while but haven’t been able to, so now I will.”

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning four-game marked entry at newsXpress Gatton, Shop 6, 6 Railway Street, Gatton.

newsXpress Gatton co-owner Darryl Spicer said he was thrilled the winner had come forward to claim her prize.

“We are thrilled to have sold a winning division one ticket! It’s been a while since we sold one, so we are really glad we have again.

“I am ecstatic that she’s come forward to claim her prize. She sounds like a very deserving winner.

“We are very happy for her and hope she truly enjoys her prize.

“It’s excellent news.”
