A Surry Hills woman is struggling to concentrate as she works from home today, happily distracted with searching the Sydney property market after becoming a millionaire last night.

The Sydney resident held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3990, drawn Monday 13 July 2020, and takes home the division one prize of $1 million.

Confirming the life-changing news with us this morning, the tired but excited woman said she’d been up all night celebrating.

“This is crazy!” she screamed with excitement.

“Late last night, when I checked the ticket I was shaking and carrying on.

“It’s crazy, absolutely crazy!

“Thank you so much.

“I’m shaking, and I am trying to work from home, and I just can’t concentrate.

“I’m also a little bit tired because my partner and I drank champagne and didn’t sleep because we were just so excited.”

When asked how she planned to enjoy life as a millionaire, she said it would giver her the security she never imagined having.

“We’re going to buy a property,” she explained.

“Living in Sydney we just haven’t been able to afford it but I’ve started looking already!

“To have that security of owning our own home will be amazing.

“I can’t believe it, I really can’t. I am in shock.

“This is absolutely amazing!”

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her million-dollar winning entry online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
