The search has begun for Australia’s latest Powerball winner – a mystery Victorian player who scored a colossal $80 million in Thursday night's Powerball draw, but who might not know it yet!

The mystery Victorian player held the only division one winning entry across Australia in Powerball draw 1260, drawn Thursday 9 July 2020. They take home the division one prize of $80 million.

The multi-million-dollar winning entry is not registered to a Tatts Card, which means officials from the Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the incredible news and have to wait for them to come forward.

The mystery winner shares the title of Australia’s third biggest lottery winner.

Someone in Victoria could be completely unaware that their life has changed forever, scoring the mouth-watering $80 million jackpot in tonight’s Powerball draw.

Tonight’s division one winner is the sixth Powerball division one winner across Australia so far this calendar year. 

In addition to the coveted division one prize, there was a total of 2,404,426 prizes won in divisions two to nine collectively worth more than $44.35 million. This includes six division two winners, who each take home $204,822.85.

The winning numbers in Powerball draw 1260 on Thursday 9 July 2020 were 33, 2, 32, 31, 28, 21 and 26. The all-important Powerball number was 12
