While the nation endures a sweltering start to 2024, Powerball is continuing to turn up the heat and break new ground with a record $200 million up for grabs in Thursday’s draw 1446 on 1 February.

The record jackpot comes after no players held a division one winning entry in Powerball’s $150 million draw 1445, prompting the game’s prize to roll higher for the sixth consecutive week.

The $200 million Powerball prize is the largest jackpot offered by any Australian lottery game in history, breaking the previous $160 million Powerball jackpot record set in 2022.

While no entries scored the division one prize in the $150 million Powerball draw, were a total of 5,102,570 prizes worth more than $103 million were won in divisions two to nine.

Among these winners, there were 26 division two winners, who each took home a prize of $110,213.60. These winners were just one number shy of taking home the multi-million-dollar prize.

It’s almost unfathomable what winning even just a slice of next week’s $200 million Powerball division one prize would do for you this year, and the rest of your life.
