Twenty Victorian shoppers will be dancing their way into the weekend after they each scored $1 million from tonight’s Powerball draw.

Their 20-person group syndicate held one of the two division one winning entries in Powerball draw 1433.

In addition to scoring division one, the syndicate’s PowerHit entry also won multiple divisional prizes, bolstering the group’s total windfall to $20,449,469.40.

Each syndicate member took home $1,022,473.47.

However, some members of the winning Victorian syndicate may have yet to realise their newfound fortune, prompting lottery officials to urge players to check their tickets as soon as possible.

The syndicate was set up by Vic Market Lotto, 82 Therry Street, Melbourne, with shares sold at nine other Tatts outlets across the city:

  • 18 Lucky Lotto (12 shares)
  • Central Lotto (1 share)
  • Manor Lakes News & Lotto (1 share)
  • Narre Warren Newsagency & Lotto (1 share)
  • Spring Hill News (1 share)
  • Springvale Authorised Newsagency & Lotto (1 share)
  • Strathmore Post & Lotto (1 share)
  • Sunshine Lucky Lotto (1 share)
  • Victoria Gardens Lotto (1 share)

Some syndicate members held unregistered entries and might have yet to discover their winning news.

While members of this winning group might not know each other, they are now united by the fact that tonight they each became a Powerball millionaire.

Some of these division one winning syndicate members have already begun celebrating their good fortune knowing their bank account is about to be boosted with more than $1 million.

While we’ll be reaching out to those winners who are registered, there are still some unregistered syndicate members who may have yet to discover their good news.
